The Problem

Water Works Car Wash operates five locations across the Maryland market. With multiple locations to manage and a membership-based business model, they needed a strong digital presence that could drive local visibility for each location, support member acquisition, and provide a secure internal resource for their staff. Their existing web presence was not built to handle multi-location SEO or the operational demands of a growing car wash chain.

The Solution

Cogo has partnered with Water Works since 2015, designing two websites over that period and implementing a full SEO strategy across all five locations. We set up lead tracking for membership inquiries, built a private employee portal with onboarding materials and how-to videos for staff access, and handle ongoing maintenance for both the public-facing website and the internal portal.

The Results

  • 75,014 website sessions; organic search is the #1 traffic source at 40,393 sessions — 54% of all traffic
  • 50 Google local #1 rankings across all five Maryland locations, including #1 for “car wash 24 hrs” in Elkridge, Crofton, Annapolis, and Arbutus
  • ~477,000 combined Google Business Profile impressions across all five locations
  • 28,890 direction requests, 17,646 website clicks, and 2,665 calls generated through GBP
  • Employee portal built and maintained — a custom internal resource for staff onboarding and training
  • Continuous web presence management since 2015 across two full website redesigns
