Alternative Resolutions is one of the top mediation firms in the Washington DC Metro. They help organizations overcome performance challenges, foster collaboration and build winning teams using mediation, arbitration and training. They have over 30 years of legal expertise and use a customized process to get to the core conflicts which drain an organization’s productivity.
Even with that stellar reputation, they had very little online presence and realized that if they were going to remain competitive, they would have to strengthen their online presence and generate more business through their website. They reached out to COGO asking for help in developing a new website and online marketing strategy that would help them to achieve these goals.
COGO designed and developed the firm’s website and recommended that new and original photography be used in conjunction with client testimonials to showcase the firm’s expertise in mediation, arbitration and facilitation.
Once done we conducted thorough, on-page search engine optimization (SEO) on the website to make sure it ranked competitively in first page search results. Our SEO process included extensive keyword research to determine the top performing words and phrases and then coded this information into the meta data on each page of the site. Our SEO team also added Google Analytics coding to track web traffic andGoogle Webmaster Tools to verify and test the site.
In order to implement an effective off-page SEO strategy, we developed two downloadable tip sheets that also served as conversion tools on the website. The goal was to grow the email database and use email to nurture these leads.
Our social media recommendations included a Linkedin & blogging strategy that positioned Ellen Kandell, the firm’s president as a thought leader in the industry while also helping build search traffic to the website. The client has recently reengaged COGO to upgrade the website’s design and functionality and we expect to launch by early 2018.
We also provide a detailed monthly report that included metrics like overall network growth, channel growth, which type of content got the most engagement and how many direct and indirect leads were generated as a result of our social media outreach.
