bloggingLike many, you may need a push in the right direction when it comes to the process of creating high quality content.

Rather than beat your head against your keyboard, trying to come up with content ideas and catchy titles, there are tools you can use to your advantage.

Here are five that you should experiment with in the near future:

1. Buzzsumo. With this tool, all you have to do is type in a word and it will spit out the most popular content associated with it. Not only is it a great way to come up with content ideas, but it will go a long way in helping you spy on the competition.

2. Portent. When writer’s block sets in and you are searching for answers, this is the tool that will show you the way. Type in any keyword, whatever comes to mind, and Portent will do the rest. Soon enough, you will have an attractive title to work from.

3. Google Trends. Let’s face it: the more popular a topic is the better chance you have of generating a large amount of traffic. With Google Trends, it is easy to stay current in regards to trending subject matter.

4. Twitter. Many people use Twitter for nothing more than distributing content. In other words, it is likely to be a big part of your marketing plan. But before you get to this, you need to consider the fact that Twitter can also help you create content. What is trending? What are others talking about?

5. Quora. People have questions. People have answers. You want to create content that answers the most common questions within your industry. By scouring Quora, you can stay up to date with the subject matter that others are most interested in learning about.

Creating content does not have to be a long, drawn out process that brings stress to your life. Instead, it can be fun and rewarding if you take the right approach and do whatever you can to stay on track.

With the five content discovery tools above, you will never again find yourself hurting for inspiration. If you use one or more of these tools the next time you sit down to write a blog post, it will not be long before you are full of inspiration and guidance. From there, all you have to do is let your creative juices flow.
